Chamber honors Citizens of the Year
The Chamber’s annual Awards dinner, where the Citizen of the Year and Ole Award recipients are honored was held January 30 at the beautiful Lincoln Inn Banquets. The community honored Buzz and Linnea Miller for their many years of service to the community. The joy of recalling their contributions mingled with the sorrow the community felt at the recent loss of Linnea to breast cancer.
In addition, the Chamber recognized investment in the community by honoring Batavia Enterprises for Water Street Studios, Superior Health Linens for their new plant at 1160 Pierson Drive and Discount Tire for their new store at 301 S. Randall Road with Olé Awards. The Chamber would like to thank the evening’s sponsors:

Ignite! A Bright Future for Batavia
The City of Batavia, in cooperation with the Batavia Chamber of Commerce, Batavia MainStreet, Batavia School District, Batavia Park District, Batavia Public Library and Waubonsee Community College, have planned an interactive, day-long strategy session.
