Delnor Hospital

Delnor Hospital is part of Delnor Health System, which provides a broad range of health care and wellness services for the community. Located minutes north of Batavia on Randall Road, this modern, 118-bed medical facility offers a statedesignated Level II Trauma Center. Its 24-hour emergency department is staffed by physicians and nurses specially trained in emergency medicine. In addition, the modern labor/delivery/recovery suites are available in the hospital’s NewLife Maternity center and high-risk newborns are cared for in a Level II nursery. Delnor is preparing for a three-story 100,000 square foot expansion designed to meet the needs of the growing community.

Provena Mercy Medical Center

Provena Mercy Medical Center is a 356-bed hospital based minutes away from Batavia in Aurora. Central DuPage Hospital

Central DuPage Hospital is a nationally recognized 361-bed facility located east of Batavia in Winfield. It is a leading center for surgical innovations and was one of the first institutions in the nation to offer minimally invasive heart surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery with bio-engineered bone protein and was the first Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in DuPage County.


The hospital is part of an interdependent network of healthcare organizations and services, including convenient care centers, occupational health services and a full range of options for senior living, home health and hospice care. The hospital recently entered into an agreement with Children’s Memorial Hospital, providing exemplary medical services at CDH’s neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU and the General Pediatric Unit without having to go to downtown Chicago.

Volunteer spirit

There are several organizations dedicated to helping families or individuals in need at difficult times.


Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice — located minutes away in Geneva — is a non-profit, volunteer based, community funded organization. It has been dedicated to providing practical, spiritual and emotional support to individuals with life threatening and terminal illnesses and grieving persons and their families since 1981. Now the largest volunteer hospice in the United States, the organization celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2006. LivingWell Cancer Resource Center is a communitybased, not-for-profit center in the Fox Valley area dedicated to providing people with cancer and their families and friends with the support and educational services they need when going through cancer treatment.
